Job Position : Application Support Engineer

Desired Qualification :
• Freshers need to be graduates (BE / B.Tech, B.Sc / BCA) or higher (MCA / M.Sc) with a minimum of 70% marks
Desired Experience :
• 0 - 6 months in software support / application support (or technical support) with experience in handling global customers.
Mandatory Skills :
• Solid understanding of object oriented theories
• Hands on experience with core Java and related technologies
• Good scripting knowledge with Shell scripting / Javascript / VB script
• Solid understanding of database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2)
• Hands on knowledge of one or more platforms / OS such as Windows, variants of Unix/Linux
• Very good theoretical and practical understanding of networking concepts, TCP / IP, IPv6, VPN
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management /Application Lifecycle Management tools / principles
• Excellent written and spoken English

• UNIX system administration experience is nice to have
